Why do scented candles vary so much in price?

There are many scented candles on the market and in several different price ranges, and we understand that it can be difficult to know why prices vary. One of the biggest reasons is the wax. All waxes have different properties and quality.

How to distinguish between cheap and exclusive scented candles?

Our scented candles are made from vegetable waxes, primarily soy and rapeseed wax. These soft waxes have a low melting point, which allows them to spread the scent evenly and pleasantly. They bind the fragrance oil beautifully and contribute to a soft and harmonious scent experience – unlike harder waxes often used in, for example, pillar candles.

Another crucial factor is the fragrance oil used. Here too, quality varies greatly. Our fragrance oils come from a reputable perfume house in Grasse – the center of perfumery in France – and we have carefully selected the scents we like best. The price of each fragrance oil, in turn, depends on the raw materials included and how exclusive they are.
