Essential fragrance oils
Share
Essential fragrance oils are distilled primarily from plants, which is an extensive process, and these oils are highly concentrated. The essential oils used as fragrance are extremely small oil droplets found in the plant's flower, stem, fruit, or root. These are 100% natural, but a common misconception is that they are then non-toxic. The oils are highly concentrated and should therefore be used with caution.
The difference between essential and synthetic fragrance oils
Synthetic fragrance oils are often a mix of many different components, many of which originate from essential oils but usually have an addition of synthetic substances to develop the scent into the magical end product that we consumers desire. The fragrance oils are also adapted to meet legal requirements regarding, for example, allergies, and to be adapted for room scents that are gentle on people and animals who come into contact with the fragrance oil. The oil should be adapted to have good dispersion in the room and have a soft and pleasant character.
Our selected essential fragrance oils
Our exclusive essential fragrance oils are selected to contribute to a pleasant mood. The "Relaxing" oil is based on lavender, which is well-known for creating calm and harmony. "Strength" has a fresh citrus note from orange, bergamot, and mandarin. The "Happy" fragrance oil is extracted from the Eucalyptus plant and emits a fresh mint scent. Last but not least, we have our most sophisticated oil, "Peaceful," which originates from the exclusive Ros de Mai rose harvested in May in Grasse. It has a warm and rich scent and is said to have anti-inflammatory properties and can reduce irritation. The scent is warm and rich with a honey-like undertone.
Remember to use essential fragrance oils with caution as they are highly concentrated. Dilute the fragrance oils in water and use them in an aroma diffuser or in a sauna.
Never apply essential fragrance oils directly to the skin or ingest them!
