A seed began to sprout

As previously mentioned, The Friendly Home started by purchasing a stock of scented candles. These candles were handmade by entrepreneurs around the world. Already in our first year, we embarked on supplier visits to get to know our suppliers. We visited a handful of producers both within and outside Europe, and it was here that the seed for eventually having our own production was planted. That seed grew faster than we anticipated, as customer requests often differed from what we had in stock. Already in the first year of operation, we began experimenting with our own production, and after months of challenging tests and experimentation, we learned step by step. After a couple of years, we had acquired enough knowledge to deliver 100% self-produced products, and today, the core of our business is our scent studio with its own production, where we produce for our own brand but largely for other brands, known as private label.
